Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell Named a 2015 Best Place to Work

Date: 05.13.15

DENVER: Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell (WTO) has been listed among the top three 2015 Best Places to Work in Denver in the extra-large company category. WTO is also the top-ranked law firm across all size categories. The survey was conducted by the Denver Business Journal and Quantum Workplace.

According to Quantum Workplace, top companies achieve a threshold level of employee participation in the survey, and responses are then compiled and evaluated to determine an overall employee engagement score in each workplace. Denver Business Journal editor Neil Westergaard writes, "The winners were selected based on employee measurement of 40 attributes known to drive employee engagement.”

Categories include team effectiveness, retention, alignment with company goals, trust among coworkers and for senior leadership, and feeling valued, among others. “Our employees are not just ‘top talent,’ though they are certainly that,” says managing partner Carolyn Fairless. “They are vibrant, diverse people, and our business owes its success to their tremendous investment in the firm and its clients. Being a ‘Best Place to Work’ is an inherent part of our culture—and making the list is icing on the cake.”

In 2008, 2010, and 2012, WTO was ranked the number-one best place to work in Denver by size. The firm appeared on the Best Places to Work list every year from 2004-2012. The newspaper suspended the survey after 2012, and the 2015 edition marks the return of the Best Places to Work list.
