Former Top Colorado Regulation Counsel Nancy Cohen Joins Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell

DENVER: The trial law firm of Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell is pleased to announce that Denver attorney Nancy L. Cohen has joined the firm as Of Counsel effective June 15, 2010.

Cohen was with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation since 1999, and was its Chief Deputy Regulation Counsel since 2002. In this capacity, she investigated and prosecuted lawyers for violations of ethical rules, implemented a nationally recognized attorney-regulation system, and gave hundreds of presentations to lawyers and other groups on legal ethics issues.

Cohen is a 1981 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law. As a trial lawyer in private practice from 1982-1999, Cohen handled complex commercial, employment, product-liability, and lawyer disciplinary matters.

Firm Chairman Michael O'Donnell says, "With her wealth of experience in attorney ethics and regulation, Nancy Cohen will be a terrific addition to the firm's professional liability practice. My partner Carolyn Fairless and I are excited to have Nancy join us in representing law firms and lawyers in regulatory and legal malpractice matters."
