Kevin Homiak
 

Kevin Homiak handles complex commercial and torts cases in a variety of practice areas, including legal malpractice and medical malpractice defense. He has also represented clients in cases involving criminal allegations. 

In trial, Kevin has handled direct examinations of an expert witness, a defendant, and two fact witnesses. He has also prepared fact and expert witnesses for trial, handled pre-trial briefing. Kevin has conducted nearly two dozen fact-witness depositions. 

Kevin is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and George Washington University. Before joining Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable James O. Browning of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.

Kevin defends high-stakes and complex professional liability claims, including in the legal and healthcare industries. He has significant experience in all phases of litigation, and frequently assumes crucial roles in court. In addition to his experience as a lead trial attorney, Kevin has conducted direct and cross examinations, taken over two dozen depositions, and led internal investigations involving criminal allegations. Kevin has also had success drafting and arguing motions in court.
