Trigg Wins Lifetime Achievement Award, Denv. Bus. J., Sept. 12-18, 2003

Denver lawyers honored John R. "Jack" Trigg with the Denver Business Journal’s inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award in the Best of the Bar competition.

"The Lifetime Achievement award is given to a single lawyer who has had an exemplary career and is widely respected by the legal community," said Neil Westergaard, editor of the Denver Business Journal. The weekly business newspaper solicited ballots from more than 5,000 Denver area lawyers.

One nomination stated, "Trigg has an unparalleled record of success at trial." Another said, "Despite trying cases that are often emotionally charged he is the consummate professional, setting a standard of collegiality and courtesy that we should all follow."

Trigg’s reputation extends far beyond Colorado. His current practice, which focuses on complex business litigation, product liability and class actions, takes him around the country. He has personally participated in cases in all 50 states. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has served in leadership positions at the Defense Research Institute, Lawyers for Civil Justice and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, where he is a past president.
