WTO Supports Retrospective of Colorado Abstract Artist Dale Chisman
DENVER – Dale Chisman was probably the most renowned abstract painter living and working in Colorado in the last 50 years. He died in 2008. His work is held in major museums and private collections throughout the United States. An exhibition of Chisman's work - Dale Chisman in Retrospect - opens at Redline on January 13 and runs through February 27, 2011.
Since Chisman's death, Paul Hultin has represented the Chisman Estate on a pro bono basis. Hultin and WTO have loaned some pieces from their respective Chisman art collections to be displayed at the retrospective. WTO's participation and its support of Hultin's pro bono legal work on behalf of the Chisman Estate are representative of the firm's commitment to community involvement.
