Hannah Seifert represents clients in complex commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining WTO, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sam E. Haddon of the United States District for the District of Montana, where she worked almost exclusively on civil matters.
During law school, Hannah was a legal intern at an AV-rated law firm in Missoula, Montana, specializing in insurance work where she provided litigation support and assisted in drafting and responding to dispositive motions, pleadings, and written discovery.
She also participated in her law school’s junior partnership program for two years, in which she instructed first-year law students in legal research and writing. During her final year of law school, Hannah represented university students in housing and consumer law matters.
- Won a defense jury verdict in New Mexico for USAA against underinsured motorist claims following a 2013 car accident. The jury found that the plaintiffs' alleged injuries were unrelated to the accident and decided in USAA's favor in less than 30 minutes.
- Defeated class certification and declaratory claims in a putative class action in Montana regarding USAA's handling of claims for medical payments coverage.
