Biography

Angelica Perez’s experience includes serving as a judicial extern for the Honorable Nina Y. Wang of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and working as a law clerk at WTO for two summers. She has experience with depositions and has drafted memoranda and motions to support litigation strategy and legal arguments.

Angelica’s first legal experience was during her undergraduate years when she was an administrative legal assistant for a solo-practicing family law and estate planning attorney.

Cases

  • Won decertification of an FLSA collective with 1,300 opt-ins spread over nine states, which had been conditionally certified before WTO took over the case. The claim against WTO's global healthcare provider client was for overtime due to alleged missed meal breaks.
