Date: 10.16.24

DENVER: Law Week Colorado honored four Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) attorneys in its annual Barrister’s Best issue. The publication’s annual community survey, where readers vote for attorneys, determined the results.

Carolyn Fairless - Barrister’s Choice: Best Overall Litigator. “Fairless is often the recipient of jaw-dropping courtroom wins and industry recognition alike,” Law Week wrote. The publication has previously recognized Carolyn as a Law Week Top Litigator and Lawyer of the Year and one of the Top Women Lawyers; she also has been listed in Barrister’s Best multiple times.

Michael O’Donnell - Barrister’s Choice: Best Commercial Litigator. Mike has taken over 85 trials to verdict as lead defense counsel in over 45 states, the edition highlighted. Barrister’s Best has honored him many times before, and Law Week previously named him a Lawyer of the Decade and Lawyer of the Year.

Lucas Ritchie - People’s Choice: Best Securities Lawyer. Luke is “a mainstay in Law Week’s Barrister’s Best,” the edition said. The publication added that Luke joined WTO earlier this year to launch the firm’s securities litigation and enforcement defense practice.

Kevin Kuhn - Barrister’s Choice: Best Medical Malpractice Lawyer for Defendants. Kevin has seen more than 135 trials to verdict, the publication highlighted. Kevin has been recognized in the medical malpractice defense category several times.
