Biography

Michaela (“Mickey”) Redlingshafer represents clients in challenging litigation matters nationwide. Prior to joining WTO, Mickey served as a law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where she gained familiarity across a wide variety of legal issues ranging from complex commercial disputes to criminal procedure. As a summer associate during law school, Mickey helped draft a successful U.S. Supreme Court amicus brief in support of transgender rights in Bostock v. Clayton County.

Healthcare Professional Liability

  • Defending a hospital system against multiple individual lawsuits and two class actions related to various allegations concerning negligence.
  • Won a motion to strike portions of a complaint in favor of a hospital and nurse in a medical negligence lawsuit.
  • Defending assisted living facility against multiple lawsuits involving allegations of elder abuse and negligence.
  • Defending hospital and healthcare providers in a wrongful death action.
