AWI Sustaining Member Elizabeth Rita of Denver will be hosting a cocktail reception and a presentation by AWI Founder Amy Oppenheimer. Ms. Oppenheimer's presentation will include an introduction to AWI and its Guiding Principles, and a discussion about eliminating cognitive bias in workplace investigations.
This meeting will be an opportunity for current AWI members to get together, and for others who are interested to find out more about AWI. In the months following this introductory meeting, Ms. Rita will be convening a local circle of current and new AWI members.
The Association of Workplace Investigators is the only professional association for workplace investigators, including attorneys, private investigators, human resource professionals, and others interested in workplace investigations. AWI's mission is promote and support workplace investigations as a distinct area of expertise and to enhance the quality of workplace investigations. AWI has approximately 400 members in 18 US states, Canada, and Australia.
