Open Positions:

Paralegal

Responsibilities include: 

  • Independent case management including document organization, discovery and database management, trial preparation, calendaring/docketing and familiarity with federal and state court rules/procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree,  and a paralegal certificate is preferred
  • Must have minimum of seven years of experience managing all phases of complex litigation including going to trial
  • Strong Communication & Analytical Skills
  • Excellent Written Skills; High Attention to Detail, and Ability to multitask and switch between tasks easily.  
  • Competence with Microsoft Office suite of products is essential.  Prior experience with databases’ like Summation, Eclipse, or Relativity preferred

Legal Secretary

Responsibilities include: 
Providing organizational and administrative support for attorneys and paralegals in a high-paced, complex practice.  Work responsibilities include proofreading, heavy transcription, editing various documents, handling electronic filings in both state and federal courts, and preparing expense reports.  Other duties include scheduling client appointments, booking travel, answering calls, time entry, and client billing.  This position requires a great deal of client interaction and candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, attorneys and staff.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree,  and a paralegal certificate is preferred
