Denver Business Journal Names WTO #3 Best Place to Work in Extra-Large Category
Denver: Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) has been named the #3 Best Place to Work in Denver in the extra-large company category. This is WTO’s third year in a row in the Top 3, and also the third year in a row as the top-ranked law firm across all size categories.
The Denver Business Journal and Quantum Workplace conducted the survey. In selecting WTO, the DBJ highlights numerous benefits of working at the firm. Chief among these is a culture that encourages and values teamwork, collegiality, appreciation, and respect. “We want to create the kind of work environment the majority of employees say they want . . . one in which they can make a contribution and be recognized for it,” said WTO managing partner Carolyn Fairless.
This year WTO also won the DBJ’s inaugural Workplace Wellness Award in the extra-large category. The award recognizes WTO’s commitment to the long-term wellness of all its personnel. Wellness perks at WTO include free, onsite fitness facilities; yoga at work; and a $350 annual wellness benefit for qualified expenses such as fitness classes, new bike or bike tune-up, skis/ski pass, hot stone massage, hiking boots—anything that helps employees take care of themselves. The firm also provides resources to support the mental, emotional, and financial wellness of employees and their families.
WTO has appeared in the Top 10 Best Places to Work for 11 years, including three appearances at #1.
