BTI Consulting: WTO a "Litigation Leader"
Denver: Based exclusively on client feedback, BTI Consulting has named Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) a nationwide “Litigation Leader” in its 2022 Litigation Outlook. These are “the firms best suited to meet [clients’] most pressing litigation needs,” writes the guide. WTO is one of only two boutiques to appear alongside AmLaw 100 heavyweights like Skadden, Sidley, and Cravath for class actions and complex commercial litigation.
In all, BTI listed WTO among the Top 40 firms in the U.S. for Class Actions, the Top 48 for Complex Commercial Litigation, and the Top 22 firms for Product Liability Litigation.
“To our clients, thank you for trusting us with your most important litigation. We don’t take that trust lightly,” said Firm Chair Michael O’Donnell. “Your priorities are our priorities, and your concerns are our concerns. Thank you for honoring WTO as a peer to the most recognizable firms in the country.”
According to BTI, clients evaluated firms based on seven key criteria:
• Client service
• Current experience
• Responsiveness during the pandemic
• Prior performance
• Level of aggressiveness
• Investment in the relationship
• Understanding the business risk
BTI’s rankings are based solely on interviews with 300+ in-house counsel. Firms do not submit a nomination. The firms listed here are those that clients named, unprompted, during interviews.
Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell lawyers have taken more than 1,100 trials and arbitrations to verdict or award and hundreds of appeals to opinion all across the nation, with exceptional results for our clients.
Established in 1998, WTO today numbers approximately 100 trial lawyers and litigators. The firm represents sophisticated clients in high-stakes civil trials, appeals, and related litigation ranging from complex commercial to class actions to catastrophic torts.
