CLE: Components of Mediations

Please join WTO for a CLE on the vital components of mediations.

Mediators Joe Epstein and Julie Williamson, of Conflict Resolution Services, will describe how mediation settlements are more of a process than an event. Proper preparation is vital including knowing the law, knowing the facts of the case, knowing and preparing expert witnesses and clients, knowing the emotional and political components, developing a mediation strategy and anticipating settlement specifics.

If both lawyer and client are fully prepared before a mediation session, the process of mediation is much more likely to lead to a full settlement of the issues.
