Corey Thompson represents clients in civil litigation. Before joining WTO, Corey served as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephanie L. Scoville, Colorado District Court Judge for the Second Judicial District in the City and County of Denver. In this position, Corey researched and drafted orders on a variety of topics in a civil docket, and prepared jury instructions and verdict forms. He also took leadership roles by managing the work product of interns and providing mentorship.
Corey also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael E. Hegarty, U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson, U.S. District Judge for the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Virginia. He prides himself on legal writing that is clear, concise, and complete.
