Biography

Jennifer Simon represents clients in class actions and healthcare professional liability matters. She has strong experience in the appellate courts, drafting appellate briefs and appeals as a summer associate at Kirkland & Ellis and participating in the Georgetown Law Appellate Litigation Clinic.

In law school, Jennifer was an executive editor and staff editor for the Georgetown Journal on Law & Public Policy; the president of both the Thomistic Institute and Society of Catholic Students, the director of Community and Faculty Engagement Chair for the Federalist Society, and also served on the executive board of the Christian Legal Society.

Cases

  • Won a Fourth Circuit appeal on a 18 U.S.C. ยง3582(c) motion for compassionate release for a pro bono client.
  • Drafted a Supreme Court petition for certiorari.
  • Drafted appeals for the Second and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Helped research appeals and amicus briefs in the Second, Sixth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the Supreme Court.
