Biography

Joe “Hank” Legan was a WTO summer law clerk and a legal intern for the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender before joining the firm. As a student attorney in the University of Denver Civil Rights Clinic, he represented incarcerated individuals in a class action challenging unconstitutional prison conditions. Prior to studying law, Hank spent 20 years in the real estate industry as a property manager overseeing commercial office buildings, multifamily portfolios, and condominium associations.

His prior real estate experience helped him develop strong communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with people that leaves them feeling like they’re his only client that day.

Hank also worked as a student attorney for the University of Denver Sturm College of Law’s Animal Activist Legal Defense Project.
