Scott D. Shadler

Scott Shadler takes a proactive and innovative approach to overseeing WTO’s technology and information security. As a result, the firm is a legal industry leader in areas including data security and tech systems. Since Scott joined WTO, the national rankings directory Vault has rated the firm among the leading midsize law firms in the U.S. in the Technology & Innovation category.

Scott leads the firm through critical, evolving issues including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, privacy, business continuity, and knowledge management. He manages a broad range of areas at the firm, from help desk support to technology programming and development to tactical planning and budgeting. 

Scott has spent more than 20 years as a technology professional. When he was the IT Director at Reilly Pozner, he played an instrumental role in the firm earning Relativity’s Innovation Award. 

He was a chemist before moving to IT. Thanks to his science background, he brings strong analytical skills and a data-focused mindset to his role at WTO.
