Susey Davis brings a varied background in government service to her litigation practice. Before joining WTO, she worked for the Honorable Joel M. Carson, III, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Honorable Kea W. Riggs of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico, where she gained experience in legal writing and research. In addition, Susey became familiar with immigration law issues while working for the U.S. Department of Justice.
Susey also worked for the Honorable Larry Bucshon, M.D., of the U.S. House of Representatives, where she first developed a passion for law and desire to use her skills to help others. During her time there, she successfully drafted, advocated for, and signed a transportation bill into law. She also participated in the strategizing and drafting of federal privacy laws with the U.S. House Committee on Energy & Commerce. Additionally, she has experience in fundraising for congressional candidates in Washington, D.C.
