The WTO Foundation Celebrates Five Years of Community Service

Date: 05.06.11

The Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell Foundation is proud to celebrate its fifth year of serving our communities starting in our hometown of Denver and extending across the country and the world. In honor of this milestone, we are pleased to present the "WTO Foundation Five Year Review," a look back at the foundation's five-year history, highlights of Foundation-sponsored activities, and a list of nonprofit organizations the Foundation and WTO employees, family, and friends have supported with money and volunteer time.

From its inception in September 2005, the Foundation has made an impact on the lives of many, both inside and outside the firm. We are most pleased that our Foundation work has helped us to become a stronger and more collegial group. Our employees cite the Foundation as one of the reasons they have voted the firm among the top three best places to work in our size category from 2007 to 2010, including number one in 2008 and 2010, in an annual survey conducted by the Denver Business Journal.

To date, the Foundation has donated almost $600,000 and countless hours of volunteer time to various charities working in the areas of legal services, education, homelessness and poverty, hunger, animal protection, disease treatment and prevention, arts and culture, military veterans, and emergency relief.
