Denver: Chambers USA has again recognized Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) among the top litigation firms nationwide and in Colorado.

The directory describes WTO as “A dominant litigation boutique celebrated for its talent in civil trials.” Chambers quotes one client as saying, “They see the big picture from the very beginning and strategize accordingly.” Another says, “Each member of the team has their own amazing set of skills, and they work together perfectly.”

“Client satisfaction is our very foundation,” said WTO Chairman Michael O’Donnell. “The client testimonials to Chambers are inspiring and affirming, and we are humbled to earn such high praise.”

In its editorial, Chambers points to WTO’s high-profile engagements, such as representing three co-defendants in the $2.1 billion Beltran et al. v Noonan et al. federal antitrust class action, and serving as national trial and settlement counsel to Michelin for its product liability cases.

Nationwide

Chambers ranks WTO in Band 2 for Nationwide Product Liability & Mass Tort Defense, putting the firm among the top 8 firms in the country by number of lawyers ranked.

Four WTO lawyers are recognized as “Notable Practitioners” in Product Liability & Mass Torts Defense.

In addition to being ranked in Band 3, Fitzpatrick also earned special recognition as one of only two lawyers in the U.S. to be named to the Chambers Spotlight Table for Nationwide Product Liability: Toxic Torts.

New this year, Chambers introduced a ranking for Nationwide Product Liability: Consumer Class Actions. WTO’s Michael Williams is ranked in Band 2—one of only seven lawyers in the nation to earn a listing for consumer class actions. Clients describe Williams as “a great strategic thinker in litigation” who “understands the business impact and will outwork the other side.”

Colorado

Chambers ranked WTO in Band 1 in Colorado for General Commercial Litigation. Only one other firm is ranked in Band 1 in this category.

Eight WTO lawyers are recognized as “Notable Practitioners” in this area. That’s twice as many as the next closest firm. WTO also has more attorneys ranked in Band 1 for General Commercial Litigation than any other firm in Colorado.

Additionally, Raymond Martin is ranked in Band 1 for Colorado Labor & Employment. This is Martin’s tenth straight year in Band 1. One source praises his ability to “connect the dots on everything in and out of the courtroom.” Another sums Martin’s achievements concisely, describing him simply as “one awesome trial lawyer.”
