Won appeal of a wrongful termination lawsuit involving the public policy exception to employment at will.

WTO lawyers won an appeal for a manufacturer of wind turbines in the Colorado Court of Appeals. In 2016, WTO obtained a motion to dismiss claims brought by a former employee who sued the company under the public policy exception to the employment at will statute in Colorado. Following dismissal, the plaintiff appealed, and WTO again demonstrated that the law was clearly on our client’s side.
