Coronavirus Prevention & Client Resources at WTO

Date: 03.13.20

Last Updated 4.13.2020

In light of recent events, Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell LLP (WTO) is closely monitoring and reviewing daily public health updates surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus. We recognize the upheaval this situation has caused, and there is nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our clients, employees, families, and the community.

Open, And Safe
WTO has proactively implemented measures in our Denver and St. Louis offices as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and we are in compliance with applicable governmental orders. We have moved all lawyers, paralegals, and most staff to remote work, other than those employees whose in-office presence is considered essential to maintain our core business functions or support our remote work.

For those essential to the running of our business whose physical presence is needed, we have staggered hours to reduce the number of people in the office at any one time and we are enforcing social distancing. Whether in the office or working remotely, we are committed to meeting our clients' needs with the same level of service and care you have come to expect from us, while we also proactively join you in doing all that we can to lessen the spread of this virus.

Reducing Exposure
Although we represent clients across the United States, we have requested that our lawyers and staff avoid nonessential travel for the time being. We are also limiting access to our office where possible, emphasizing the use of remote teleconferencing software for internal and external meetings. We have rescheduled all social functions for the foreseeable future and will continue to monitor health and safety guidance from the CDC, the States of Colorado and Missouri, and other agencies as we navigate this situation.
