Won before the Colorado Court of Appeals for an insurance company in a breach of contract matter.

The WTO appellate team of Jessica Scott and Kimberly Still successfully defended a judgment on the pleadings in favor of WTO's insurance company client in the Colorado Court of Appeals. The appellate court agreed with the trial court's ruling that the insurance company owed no duty to defend the plaintiff in a breach of contract action and, therefore, did not owe the plaintiff tens-of-thousands of dollars in attorney's fees or treble bad faith damages that the plaintiff sought.
