Habib Nasrullah Receives Internet Safety Award

DENVER: The Board of Directors for the Colorado Association of Leaders in Educational Technology (CALET), a department of the Colorado Association of School Executives that represents school technology professionals statewide, presented the 2008 CALET Outstanding Friend of Technology Award to Habib Nasrullah, a partner at the law firm of Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell LLP.  The CALET award honors Mr. Nasrullah’s work in bringing Internet safety to Colorado. Formerly an Assistant United States Attorney who prosecuted Internet crimes against children, Mr. Nasrullah implemented the Colorado face of the U.S. Attorney General’s Project Safe Childhood initiative.  After returning to private practice in February 2008, Mr. Nasrullah has continued his work with the Internet Safety Foundation, a community-based nonprofit organization he helped establish in 2006 to educate parents, teachers, counselors, law enforcement, and students about online safety.
