Biography

Kendra Sendler Kumor has significant experience in complex civil litigation. Prior to joining WTO, she was a litigation associate at an Am Law 20 law firm where she focused her practice on antitrust cases. 

Her experience includes defending expert depositions in multi-district litigation, preparing fact witnesses for trial, drafting an appellee brief for a federal circuit court, and drafting a motion to dismiss involving novel constitutional law defenses.

Her prior experience includes serving as a law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Cases

  • Representing national outdoor and sporting goods retailer in multi-district antitrust case alleging price fixing conspiracy.
  • Won a preliminary injunction for plaintiffs suing the Elizabeth School District over a book ban violating free speech protections. WTO is partnering with the ACLU of Colorado and representing students of the school district, the Rocky Mountain NAACP State Conference CO-MT-WY, and The Authors Guild.
  • Representing the Southeastern Conference in certified and putative class actions across the country against the NCAA and its five major athletic conferences regarding student-athlete benefits.
