Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Names WTO a 2023 Compass Award Winner
Denver: The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) named Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) a Compass Award winner for the third consecutive year. The award recognizes law firms and corporations that are active in LCLD programs for their commitment to building a more inclusive legal profession.
LCLD—an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners—has an ultimate goal of building a more equitable and diverse legal profession. The Compass Awards recognize individuals and organizations that fulfill all of the following requirements in a single calendar year:
• Member (Managing Partner/General Counsel) engagement with LCLD
• Nominate an LCLD Fellow and Pathfinder
• Participate in an LCLD Pipeline program
WTO lawyer Melissa Romero is the firm’s 2023 LCLD Fellow.
In addition to its involvement with LCLD, WTO is a founding member of the Denver Law Firm Coalition for Racial Equity, a member of the international Law Firm Antiracism Alliance, and involved in the Colorado General Counsel Mentoring Program.
