Biography

Lindsey Dunn has a wide range of experience in complex civil litigation. At an international AmLaw 50 firm, she first-chaired a bench trial and second-chaired several arbitrations, in addition to serving on several trial teams. Her courtroom experience includes delivering opening and closing arguments, examining and cross-examining witnesses, and arguing dispositive and evidentiary motions. 

Lindsey has significant commercial litigation experience. Her background spans class actions, antitrust, contract disputes, and product liability. She has represented global technology leaders as well as companies in industries including healthcare, aviation, manufacturing, and finance.

She has advised clients in all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation dispute resolution through appeals. She has extensive experience managing the litigation discovery process, particularly crafting efficient electronic discovery strategies and taking and defending depositions.

Lindsey’s pro bono experience includes giving her time to the Colorado Poverty Law Project, where she represents clients in eviction and other housing cases.

Cases

  • Won a bench trial as first-chair for a global technology leader in a commercial litigation case.
  • Won an arbitration as second-chair for a national wood-products manufacturer in a product liability case.
  • Served as second-chair in an arbitration involving a construction dispute for a national wood-products manufacturer.
  • Won a motion to dismiss—and successfully defended the result on appeal to the Tenth Circuit—for a mortgage service provider facing claims involving the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).
  • Successfully quashed numerous subpoenas to multiple national tech companies in both criminal and civil cases.
  • On the eve of trial, favorably settled a commercial dispute for a medical device company.
  • Won a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) dispute at the Ninth Circuit for an animal law advocacy organization as part of pro bono representation.
