WTO Wins First Amendment Challenge for Home Appliance Manufacturers

Our team, led by Drew Unthank and Fred Yarger, protected the speech rights of gas stove manufacturers and retailers by enjoining a law that attempted to force them to post and disseminate misleading, scientifically unproven disclaimers concerning their products. 

A federal judge recently issued a preliminary injunction preventing state enforcement of a Colorado law that singles out new gas stoves for warning labels.
