Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell Promotes Shawn Neal to Of Counsel

Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) is pleased to announce that Shawn Neal has been promoted to Of Counsel, effective January 1, 2022.

Shawn helps clients litigate product liability, professional liability, and commercial litigation cases at the trial and appellate levels. She has served on four trial teams and regularly represents clients in the healthcare, automotive, and manufacturing industries. Most recently, Shawn helped win a jury trial for Michelin in a $66 million product liability case in South Carolina. 

Shawn is listed in The Best Lawyers in America "Ones to Watch" for Commercial Litigation and Appellate Practice, and in Colorado Rising Stars for Civil Litigation Defense. She also is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and Colorado Women’s Bar Association. 

Prior to joining Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell in 2015, Shawn served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable John R. Webb of the Colorado Court of Appeals. Before she became a lawyer, Shawn dedicated eight years to a career in education and youth development, including teaching first grade.

Shawn earned her law degree, Order of St. Ives, from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her B.A. in Theatre and Communications from Northwestern University.
