Biography

Marissa Joers represents clients in civil litigation. She previously served as a summer law clerk at two firms, including WTO. Her experience includes trial preparation work such as drafting cross-examination questions, writing pre-trial motions, and working on both trial and appellate pro bono matters. 

Her experience also includes a clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and extern experiences at the Colorado Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. During law school, Marissa participated in a law clinic where she and her clinic partner took a case to trial and won. 

She also has a background in trust and retirement. In college, Marissa was the captain of the women’s tennis team.
