Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell Elects Four New Partners in 2022
Denver: Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) is proud to announce that CiCi Cheng, Johan Flynn, Brian Osterman, and Judith Youngman have been elected to the partnership, effective January 1, 2022. During their time at WTO, these four lawyers have elevated the practice of law and achieved outstanding results for our clients.

CiCi Cheng represents sophisticated companies in breach of contract, trade secret, antitrust, and commercial class action matters. Most recently, she helped win a $14.3 million arbitration award, plus attorney’s fees, in a contentious franchise dispute between two publicly traded cannabis companies. Prior to joining WTO, CiCi was an associate in the Denver office of an AmLaw 200 firm. She also served a judicial clerkship in the Colorado Supreme Court. CiCi earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and her B.S. from the University of Georgia. CiCi is admitted to practice law in Colorado.
Johan Flynn serves as national coordinating counsel and trial counsel to product manufacturers facing asbestos wrongful death litigation. During his career, he has implemented strategies to manage more than 30,000 individual asbestos matters. Prior to joining WTO, Johan was an attorney in the Baltimore office of a personal injury defense firm. He earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland Law School and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Sonoma State University. Johan is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Illinois, and Maryland.
Brian Osterman defends clients against catastrophic medical malpractice lawsuits. He has won early dismissals and favorable settlements for dozens of healthcare providers and facilities facing allegations of negligence and eight-figure damages claims. Prior to joining WTO, Brian was an associate at a healthcare defense boutique in New York City. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from Boston College. Brian is admitted to practice law in Colorado, New Mexico, and New York.
Judith Youngman helps clients win disputes before litigation is ever filed. She is known for her skill in developing winning prelitigation strategies involving underperforming contracts with billions of dollars at stake. She also defends clients in high-stakes antitrust, class action, and product liability litigation. Prior to joining WTO, Judith was an attorney in the Austin, Texas office of a national litigation boutique. She also served a judicial clerkship in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Judith earned her J.D. from the University of Texas Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin. Judith is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Texas.
