“WTO is a world-class litigation and trial firm,” said firm chairman Michael O’Donnell. “Our emphasis on excellence drives our service to clients across practices, whether product liability, class actions, commercial litigation, or professional liability.”

Listed lawyers include:

•    Hugh Gottschalk
•    James Hooper
•    Habib Nasrullah
•    Michael O’Donnell
•    Edward Stewart
•    Jack Trigg
•    Malcolm Wheeler

The publication specifically mentions founding partners Wheeler, Trigg, and O’Donnell: “Wheeler is an eminent practitioner who is widely considered one of the best appellate lawyers in the country”; “Trigg is a market fixture known for his longstanding excellence in the US product liability space”; and “Chairing the firm is the ‘exceptional’ Michael O’Donnell, who has represented clients as lead defence counsel in 40 US states.”

According to the Who's Who Legal website, it is not possible to buy entry into a directory or list. "Nominees have been selected based upon comprehensive, independent survey work with both general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide. Only specialists who have met independent international research criteria are listed."
