Won defense verdict in $97M Vermont ski case
WTO won a defense verdict in a $97 million catastrophic injury case for a ski resort.
Following a 12-day federal trial in Vermont, a jury entered a defense verdict and found that the defendant resort was not negligent.
The WTO trial team, along with Vermont co-counsel Tom Aicher of Cleary Shahi & Aicher, emphasized their client’s strong safety record to overcome steep challenges in securing a significant defense verdict.
The large case involved 29 witnesses at trial, including seven experts.
