Denver Post, Colorado TV and Radio Stations Cover WTO's Book Ban Case
Several Colorado media outlets reported on WTO and the ACLU of Colorado filing a lawsuit against the Elizabeth School District for removing books from school libraries that weren't in line with school board members' political views.
WTO’s Craig May, Thomas Dec, and Celyn Whitt filed the suit pro bono for students of the school district, the Rocky Mountain NAACP State Conference CO-MT-WY, and The Authors Guild.
The book ban violates federal and state constitutional free speech protections, the suit emphasizes.
