WTO Promotes Three Lawyers in 2023
Denver: Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell (WTO) is proud to announce that it has elected Clarissa Collier to the partnership and promoted Daniel N. Guisbond and Matthew V. Rotbart to Of Counsel roles, effective January 1, 2023.

Clarissa Collier represents sophisticated clients in high-stakes professional liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation matters. She is a strategic and effective advocate for clients through all stages of trials and litigation. Colorado Super Lawyers lists Clarissa as a Rising Star for litigation. She serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors to the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation. Clarissa earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law, cum laude and Order of the Coif. She is admitted to practice in Colorado.
Daniel N. Guisbond helps clients navigate commercial cases across a variety of business sectors. He has represented some of the biggest brand-name companies in the country in complex disputes nationwide. Dan is an experienced advocate in all phases of litigation—from inception through appeal—and has handled matters in federal and state courts across the country. Prior to joining WTO, Dan practiced in the litigation departments of two AmLaw 100 firms. Dan is admitted to practice in Colorado and New York. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from Cornell University.
Matthew V. Rotbart represents sophisticated clients in complex commercial litigation. He has handled cases in the healthcare, finance, and consumer products industries. Prior to joining WTO, Matt practiced at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York City. The Best Lawyers in America lists Matt as "One to Watch" in commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and New York. Matt earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law after graduating magna cum laude from Cornell University.
