Law Week Colorado Features Three WTO "Rising Stars"
Law Week Colorado highlighted trial wins of WTO lawyers on the 2024 Colorado Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list.
New partners Ryan Cooke and Brian Osterman and associate Jennie Oxley told Law Week about their recent jury trial victories for the article “Colorado’s ‘Rising Stars’ Share Wins, Views of the Future.” The story was part of the publication’s Super Lawyers edition. The details:
- Cooke served as second chair in a nine-figure jury verdict for DISH Wireless. “It was really rewarding to kick off my move to partner with such a vivid reminder of the incredible things our WTO team can achieve together,” he said.
- Osterman led as first chair in a $33 million jury verdict for a doctor. He said, “The win was very gratifying, especially after years of hard-fought litigation. We achieved vindication for my client and proved that he provided good care.”
- Oxley served as second chair in a jury verdict for an investment company. Cross-examining the defendant’s liability expert was a highlight for Jennie—and a key moment of the trial.
A total of 11 WTO lawyers made this year’s Colorado Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list. Additional “Rising Stars” are William Hauptman, Kevin Homiak, Emily Linehan, Shawn Neal, Tommy Olsen, Jacob Rey, Melissa Romero, and John Sandberg.
