WTO Welcomed 16 Lawyers in 2024
Throughout the past year, 16 lawyers joined WTO.
Look back on the lawyers our firm gained in 2024:
Hanna Bustillo, Associate | Prior to joining WTO, Hanna was an Assistant Attorney General in the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. She earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School.
Hannah Chapple, Associate | Hannah’s prior experience includes a summer associate role at a law firm in Pennsylvania. She also worked for the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic at Penn State Law, where she received her J.D., and held positions with the Clinton County, Pennsylvania, Court of Common Pleas, and the Denver City Attorney’s Office.
Susey Davis, Associate | Susey has a varied background in government service. She was a judicial law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and U.S. District Court of the District of New Mexico. Additionally, she worked for the U.S. Department of Justice and in the U.S. House of Representatives. She received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
Lindsey Dunn, Associate | Lindsey has a wide range of experience in complex civil litigation. In her prior experience at Perkins Coie, she first-chaired a bench trial and second-chaired several arbitrations, in addition to serving on several trial teams. She earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Kate Fletcher, Of Counsel | Kate has led more than 50 appeals in federal and state appellate courts. She also has trial-level litigation experience. Prior to joining WTO, she served as Senior Counsel in the New York City Law Department. She received her J.D. from Yale Law School.
Mark Goldberg, Associate | Mark’s background includes experience in employment law as a law clerk at a Denver law firm. He also had a clerkship in U.S. District Court of the Western District of Oklahoma and served as an intern in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and at the Consumer Protection Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice. He earned his J.D. from University of Colorado Law School.
Herman Hoying, Of Counsel | Herman represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation. He previously was a civil trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice. His prior experience also includes associate roles at firms including Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, King & Spalding, and Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He earned his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
Ferha Khan, Associate | Ferha has experience defending healthcare clients facing professional negligence claims in sensitive cases. She previously was a summer law clerk at WTO and a legal intern in the Wyoming Second Judicial District. She received her J.D. from University of Wyoming College of Law.
Ellie Licata, Associate | Ellie previously was a WTO summer law clerk, and she served as a legal extern in the Second Judicial District Court of Colorado and First Judicial District Court of Colorado. She earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School.
Cecilie Loidolt, Of Counsel | Cecilie has taken over 60 cases to jury defending her clients in high-exposure medical malpractice lawsuits. She has significant experience representing medical providers in eight-figure birth injury cases and often serves as national counsel. She received her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law.
Caroline Myer, Associate | Caroline is a former WTO summer law clerk who served as a judicial law clerk and judicial assistant at the Colorado Supreme Court. She earned her J.D. from University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Alan Obye, Staff Counsel | Alan brings significant experience in legal ethics to his role as Conflicts Staff Counsel. Prior to joining WTO, Alan spent 14 years at the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel (OARC). He earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School.
Abigail Thompson, Associate | Abigail has experience representing clients in complex litigation. She previously was an associate at King & Spalding and a senior associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr in London.
Corey Thompson, Associate | Corey’s prior experience includes working as a law clerk for the Second Judicial District in the City and County of Denver and serving as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School.
Brett Tobin, Associate | Brett represents clients in healthcare professional liability cases and other civil litigation. Prior to joining WTO, he held roles including trial counsel with the U.S. Army JAG Corps and Special Assistant United States Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado. He received his J.D. from University of Wisconsin Law School.
David Turoff, Staff Counsel | Dave is a member of WTO’s eDiscovery team who has significant experience leading discovery projects for complex litigation. Prior to joining WTO, he spent 20 years focusing on discovery for multiple firms, including large global law firms. He earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
